• IT Support Specialist

    Description

    We are seeking a motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team and provide hands-on technical support to end-users. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Windows environments, Active Directory, PC builds, and ticketing systems. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who can balance technical expertise with excellent customer service.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Provide first- and second-level support for end-users in a Windows environment.

    + Manage Active Directory, including user account setup, password resets, and group policy updates.

    + Perform PC builds, imaging, and deployment of new hardware.

    + Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues in a timely manner.

    + Log, track, and resolve issues using a ticketing system (Avanti experience a plus).

    + Document troubleshooting steps, processes, and solutions for knowledge-sharing.

    + Collaborate with team members to escalate complex issues and ensure resolutions.

    + Support IT projects, upgrades, and rollouts as needed.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + 1–3 years of experience in IT Support, Help Desk, or Desktop Support roles.

    + Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

    + Hands-on experience with Active Directory (user setup and administration).

    + Knowledge of PC builds, imaging, and hardware deployment.

    + Experience using a ticketing system (Avanti, ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar).

    + Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.

    + Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

    Preferred:

    + CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications.

    + Experience in enterprise environments supporting 100+ users.
