Description

Robert Half is partnering with a law firm in the Greater Portland Area to identify a Jr. Litigation Paralegal who is ready to IMMEDIATELY jump in to assist and possibly join their team. This position is contract with potential for extension/conversion into a permanent role.

Pay Rate: $25-32 per hour

Duration: 3+ months with potential for contract to hire!

Schedule: M-F, 8:30am-5pm

Responsibilities:

+ Provide litigation support to attorneys, including e-filing, drafting correspondence, and preparing shell documents.

+ Manage docketing tasks and ensure deadlines are met accurately and efficiently.

+ Support trial preparation activities, including assembling trial binders and other necessary materials.

+ Collaborate with attorneys to organize and maintain case files using document management systems.

+ Apply knowledge of Oregon Rules of Civil Procedure to daily tasks and ensure compliance.

+ Coordinate with multiple attorneys to streamline workflows and maintain organization.

+ Facilitate the preparation of pleadings and other legal documents.

Requirements

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation legal assistant or paralegal.

+ Strong familiarity with civil litigation, including knowledge of Oregon Rules of Civil Procedure.

+ Proven experience with docketing and managing legal deadlines.

The salary range for this position is $25-32/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
