Job Title:** **Machine Operator

**📍 Location:** Shakopee, Minnesota

• Shifts Available:

+ **1st Shift:** 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Monday–Friday)

+ **2nd Shift:** 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM (Monday–Thursday)

+ **💵 Pay:** $22–$26/hour (weekly pay, based on experience)

+ **📋 Type:** Contract to Hire – Long-term opportunity

Job Overview

We’re hiring **Machine Operators** to join a clean, organized, and laid-back machining environment. This role involves machining friction surfaces for clutches, brake magnets, and rotors. Candidates will also inspect parts, perform general assembly, and measure for accuracy using calipers and micrometers. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills with modern CNC equipment in a supportive team setting.

Key Responsibilities

+ Machine friction surfaces for clutches, brake magnets, and rotors

+ Inspect parts for accuracy after machining

+ Perform general assembly of machined parts

+ Set up sheets and read blueprints accurately

+ Cut semi-finished parts to spec

+ Measure parts using calipers and micrometers

Required Skills

+ Proficient with calipers and micrometers

+ Manual machine setup experience (including offsets)

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints

+ Strong attention to detail and documentation

+ Mechanically inclined; comfortable with hand and power tools

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

+ Comfortable using an iPad for basic tasks

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.45/hr.
