Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems. The role involves working with hydraulics, pneumatics, and injection molding machines. This 3rd shift position requires someone who is electrically skilled as they will be the main maintenance contact for the overnight shift.

Responsibilities

+ Service, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical systems.

+ Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery.

+ Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

+ Utilize schematics and blueprints to diagnose issues.

+ Operate and maintain injection molding machines.

+ Collaborate with maintenance team members and report to the maintenance manager.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 3 years experience in an industrial maintenance role.

+ Knowledge of blueprints and schematics.

+ Experience with mechanical and hydraulic components.

+ Electrically skilled for overnight maintenance duties.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ GED or high school diploma.

+ Experience with PLC programming.

+ Open to candidates with military experience in relevant fields.

Work Environment

The position will initially train on the 1st shift (7am-3:15pm) before moving to the 3rd shift (11pm-7:15am). The work environment is not climate-controlled, and each shift includes a maintenance technician and helper, all reporting to the maintenance manager.

This is a Permanent position based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $64480.00 - $64480.00/yr.
