    Industrial Mechanic / Mechanical Assembly Technician

    Job Description

    Responsibilities

    + Perform general mechanical duties on AC/DC motors.

    + Assist in all areas of manufacturing where needed.

    + Operate a forklift with at least 1 year of experience.

    + Utilize basic hand and power tools with a minimum of 2 years of experience.

    + Lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.

    + Remain on your feet throughout the workday in a non-climate-controlled environment.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 3 years of mechanical assembly experience.

    + At least 1 year of experience using hand and power tools.

    + Mechanical experience in an industrial setting.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

    + Experience in machine building and assembly.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with general labor, construction, loading, and assembly tasks.

    + Skills in wiring, electrical work, and soldering.

    + Troubleshooting skills in machine operation and repair.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a non-climate-controlled environment, requiring steel-toed boots. The position involves a first shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Longview, Texas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
