Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Server to join our catering team. The ideal candidate will deliver food and supplies for catered events, set up and serve at functions, and ensure the event area is clean and orderly after events. You will be responsible for arranging tables and decorations, as well as buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items.

Responsibilities

+ Deliver all food and supplies for catered events.

+ Set up and serve at functions; clean and tear down event area after events.

+ Return food and beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility after events.

+ Arrange tables and decorations for events.

+ Arrange buffet tables with food, beverage, and service items.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in foodservice and banquet serving.

+ Ability to perform food preparation tasks.

+ Professional server skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous experience in banquet serving is an advantage.

Work Environment

This role is based at a fine dining restaurant where the president of the college dines daily. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 10 am to 3:30 pm. Candidates must maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hamilton, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
