    **D.R. Horton, Inc.**is currently looking for a*_Sales Development Representative_*. The right candidateserves as the first point of contact for potential homebuyers, guiding them through the early stages of the home buying journey and maintaining a strong, supportive relationship throughout the process. This role is responsible for building trust, understanding customer needs, and connecting clients with the right home solutions while ensuring a seamless, positive experience from initial inquiry to post-purchase follow-up.

    *Essential Duties and Responsibilities*include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    * Engage and qualify leads through phone, email, online platforms, and in-person interactions

    * Build and maintain relationships with prospective and active homebuyers, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the home buying process

    * Conduct needs assessments to match customers with appropriate home designs, locations, and features

    * Provide timely, accurate, and relevant information about home options, pricing, financing, and construction timelines

    * Schedule and coordinate model home tours, community visits, and meetings with Sales Representatives

    * Serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure consistent communication and a smooth customer experience

    * Maintain detailed records of client interactions and progress in the CRM system

    * Proactively follow up with prospects at each stage to answer questions, address concerns, and provide updates

    * Collaborate with marketing teams to support lead generation campaigns and events

    * Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement

    * Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

    * Ability to work overtime

    * Ability to travel overnight

    Education and/or Experience

    * Associate’s degree from a two-year college or technical school

    * 1–3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or relationship management, ideally in real estate, homebuilding, or a high-value consumer product environment

    * Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications

    * Strong computer skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new programs/systems quickly is essential

    * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly

    * Customer-focused mindset with a passion for creating positive experiences

    * Highly organized with excellent follow-up skills

    * Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision

    * The noise level is generally moderate

    Preferred Qualifications

    * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred

    * Proficiency with CRM systems a plus

    * Bilingual communication skills a plus
