Financial Analyst

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support our manufacturing operations. This role will focus on financial planning, analysis, and reporting, with exposure to cost accounting processes. While prior cost accounting experience is a plus, it is not required to apply. The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen, a passion for data-driven decision-making, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and trends to support operational efficiency and profitability.
+ Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for plant operations.
+ Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including labor, overhead, and material costs.
+ Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to understand cost drivers and identify savings opportunities.
+ Monitor inventory valuation and reconcile discrepancies between physical and financial records.
+ Participate in month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
+ Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs to track financial performance.
+ Assist in capital expenditure analysis and ROI evaluations.
+ Support internal and external audits with relevant documentation and analysis.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
+ 5+ years of experience in financial analysis; manufacturing experience preferred.
+ Familiarity with cost accounting principles is a plus.
+ Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) preferred.
+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
Preferred Skills:
+ Exposure to standard costing, BOM analysis, and production variance reporting.
+ Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.
+ Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
