Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist Job Description
The Accounts Receivable Specialist plays a crucial role in the credit and collections group, directly supporting North America through effective management of Accounts Receivable, assessing credit worthiness, ensuring the collectability of receivables, and delivering timely financial data for a portfolio valued at $30-50 million.
Responsibilities
+ Manage the monthly Accounts Receivable portfolio and assist with the preparation of monthly financial reporting.
+ Review and analyze customer payment histories to determine credit standing and credit worthiness.
+ Oversee a comprehensive review of outstanding receivables and initiate follow-through with collection accounts.
+ Research and resolve account deductions, including pricing errors, allowances, and over/under payments.
+ Maintain timely and accurate records, customer communications, and account reconciliations.
+ Interact with sales, finance, and customer service personnel within the North American business units to identify root causes and resolve issues.
+ Communicate directly with clients via phone and email to manage receivables, accounting, credit analysis, and B2B collection.
Essential Skills
+ At least 1 year of Accounts Receivable experience.
+ At least 1 year of experience in B2B collections.
+ Experience with mid to large ERP systems; SAP is preferred.
+ Familiarity with Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ A high school diploma or GED is required; an associate's degree is preferred.

The role is primarily office-based, with the opportunity to work one day from home after the completion of training, contingent on performance.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
