Credit and Collections SpecialistPosition Overview
This role has two key components: Credit and Collections.
Credit Responsibilities
+ Establish and maintain effective credit policies and procedures.
+ Review data from various sources including:
+ Credit reports
+ Credit references
+ Internal payment history
+ Input from sales personnel
+ Must be able to read a credit report (no need to read financial statements).
Collections Responsibilities
+ Maintain effective collection policies and procedures focused on trade accounts receivable.
+ Responsible for managing the overall A/R aging for assigned group.
+ This is true collections, not general AR.
+ B2B collections only — not a call center role.
+ Will manage a portfolio of 300–400 customers totaling $5 million.
+ Performance will be measured by maintaining 80% current status on the portfolio.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
+ 2 years of experience in credit, collections, AR, accounting, or tax
+ Open to college graduates with limited experience
+ who studied business, accounting, etc., and are seeking long-term growth
+ Proficiency in Word and Excel
+ Must understand pivot tables and VLOOKUP
+ + Ability to create reports
+ General accounting knowledge (understands debit vs. credit)
+ High school diploma required

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
