Overview
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Student Services department.
Responsibilities
Assist in office clerical duties including, but not limited to the following:
+ Manage filing system for the department Maintaining COM student files
+ Responsible for front desk reception that includes answering incoming department calls, welcoming students, guests, and visitors, providing program information, and directing students to the appropriate office
+ Handles general clerical needs of the office: copying, faxing, filing, and responding to telephone inquiries
+ Assist with COM functions, ceremonies, open houses etc.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
+ High School Diploma/GED Eqvlnt required.
+ Associate in Arts preferred.
+ High School Diploma or GED 1 year administrative experience
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
+ General administrative duties (required)
+ Strong interpersonal skills
+ Well organized
+ Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
Working Conditions
+ Sitting for long periods of time
+ Able to lift 5 lbs
Maximum Salary
USD $35,493.00/Yr.
Minimum Salary
USD $29,419.00/Yr.
