A coronary angioplasty, also known as percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), uses a catheter to open a blocked artery. Precision angioplasty refers to PCIs guided by 3D intravascular imaging to place the stent as precisely as possible. Necessary length and diameter are customized to the exact millimeter. 3D intravascular imaging sets Catholic Health apart. We don't use the more commonly performed 2D intravascular imaging that requires estimating the placement and length of each stent. Job Details Requirements: PA - Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program, minimum Bachelor’s degree required NP – Current RN license and current AANP or ANCC certification PA – Will consider new grad with relevant PA electives or clinical background NP – Will consider new grad with Acute Nurse Practitioner certification (ACNP) Certification: Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification (ACNP) BLS/ACLS/AED training required and accepted from only 2 organizations: American Heart Association - BLS/ACLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program No online programs from any organization will be accepted.
