    **Schedule:** 2nd Shift, Weekends (Friday–Sunday, 3:30 PM – 4:00 AM)

    **Pay:** $21–$22/hr

    Responsibilities

    + Analyze pH, viscosity, water activity, brix, density, taste, color, texture, and appearance of ingredients, in-process, and finished products.

    + Perform titrations to obtain salt, lactic, and acetic acid concentrations.

    + Prepare flavors and dyes for ingredients.

    + Inspect production lines and validate integrity of all testing components.

    + Collect samples of ingredients, products, or packages and monitor testing according to established procedures.

    + Monitor processes to ensure consistent operation.

    + Label and maintain samples for retains and shelf-life monitoring.

    + Maintain lab equipment in a clean and orderly fashion.

    + Monitor plant for compliance with GMPs.

    + Test R&D samples for food safety and specification development.

    Requirements:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Biochemistry, or related field.

    + Basic math and science skills with laboratory bench work experience.

    + Ability to make accurate observations, organize work tasks, and manage time efficiently.

    + Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
