Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Distribution Supervisor manages, leads, and coordinates warehouse staff to deliver extraordinary results. Functional responsibilities may include, but are not limited to receiving, packing, cycle counting, and shipping DISH inventory to support organizational goals and objectives. Safety compliance, quality awareness, process efficiency, and employee satisfaction are key performance metrics. Duties are accomplished personally or through subordinate supervisory staff.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide leadership, guidance, and support to warehouse and distribution staff
+ Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
+ Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, address concerns, and solicit feedback
+ Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
+ Resolve employee conflicts and disciplinary issues in a fair and consistent manner
+ Ensure proper staffing levels to meet operational demands
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
+ High school diploma/GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
+ At least three years of experience in an Inventory Control role within a warehouse or distribution environment
Skills and Qualifications:
+ Ability to manage all personnel decisions (hiring, performance appraisals, terminations, etc.) in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
+ Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
+ Ability to speak effectively before groups of peers or employees of organization
+ Intermediate computer expertise, including use of database, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications. Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills
+ Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
+ Ability to work in a standard office and warehouse environment

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
