Job Summary

This role is responsible for collecting and reviewing payment data for gas purchase contracts to ensure accuracy, pursuing collections when necessary, conducting in-depth contract and pricing analysis, updating databases to support contract administration, and building business intelligence reports for management.

Duties and Responsibilities

+ Gathers information from databases and provides the requested analysis.

+ Builds models to verify gas settlement statements and to calculate accrual pricing.

+ Performs the maintenance and administration of gas contracts in designated region.

+ Prepares gas price accruals for the prior month’s production. Provides analysis and explanations for the variances between accruals and actuals.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or a similar field

+ Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience (preferably in Oil and Gas Marketing).

+ An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test

Preferred Qualifications

+ Knowledge of gas purchase agreements and gas marketing transactions.

+ Previous experience with Horizon and/or Allegro.

+ SQL proficiency.

+ Previous experience with Business Intelligence Software (Spotfire, Power BI, etc.).

+ Advanced Excel skills.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

+ Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.

+ Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.

+ Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
