    Job Description

    This position:

    Performs routine and non -involved radiographic examinations.

     

    Positions patients and adjusts the radiographic equipment for prescribed film appearance, selects and adjusts immobilization devices and other accessories

     

    Cares for and maintains X-ray equipment

     

    Adheres to radiation safety procedures and measures

     

    Conducts electrocardiographic examinations

     

    Minimum Qualification Requirements

     

    Possession of a current certificate to practice diagnostic radiography as issued by the Iowa Department of Public Health which indicates fulfillment of the training requirements for a "general diagnostic radiographer"* and experience equal to two years of full-time work in radiology.
