What You Will Do

We are looking for a Civil Engineering intern who will work within the department responsible for civil engineering including design, analysis, calculations and specifications for hydrology/hydraulics, sanitary and storm sewerage, storm water management, water treatment, potable water and other utilities for the site/area development of an individual facility/attraction, land, or theme park project. + Be responsible for civil engineering design and calculation tasks

+ Make decisions within established guidelines and provide, under supervision, engineering design and analysis in support of the production of construction contract documents

+ Communicate across multiple teams including structural, mechanical and electrical engineering teams to facilitate coordination of work

Required Qualifications & Skills

+ General knowledge of the civil engineering curriculum, with concentration in the areas of grading, hydrology/hydraulics, detention/retention ponds, sanitary and storm sewerage, potable water and utility coordination

+ Proficient in the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D

Preferred Qualifications

+ Active membership in a professional engineering organization

+ Engineer-in-Training certified

Education

Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher attending an accredited college/university earning a degree in Civil Engineering

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet** **all of** **the below requirements:

+ Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship

+ Be at least 18 years of age

+ Possess unrestricted work authorization

+ Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.

+ Able to provide reliable transportation to/from work

+ Must be fully available for the duration of the internship

The pay rate for this role in Orlando, FL is $30 per hour for undergraduate students and $35 per hour for graduate level students.
