    Job Description

    Harborview - Patient Nutrition** has an outstanding opportunity for a **Stockroom Attendant 2** **.

    WORK SCHEDULE

    + Full-time, 100% FTE (40 hours per week)

    + Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm

    + Fixed duration (anticipated need for position is 6 months)

    + Approximate position end date- April 2026

    + Day Shift

    DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

    The Nutrition and Food Services department supports Harborview’s mission by delivering extraordinary experiences with compassionate evidence-based care, unforgettable customer service, and fresh and nutritious food for patients, families, and the greater community.

    PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Receives, issues and maintains stores of food and supplies for patient and retail operations

    + Reconciles invoice against delivery with vendors

    + Inspects food items for quality, notifying food production manager of discrepancies between ordered and received amounts and item substitutions

    + Notes time and initials delivery slips for items received for department records

    + Stores food in proper location and assures that inventory is rotated

    + Rearranges stock to accommodate inventory movement using hand dollies and pallet jacks

    + Periodically takes physical inventory

    + Maintains stockroom and performs custodial duties in stockroom areas

    + Follows department policies and procedures for food safety and sanitation

    + Complies with infection control policy and hand washing procedures

    + Performs related duties as required

    REQUIREMENTS

    Stockroom Attendant I: High school graduation or equivalent. Six months of applicable experience may be substituted for education requirements.

     

    Stockroom Attendant II: Six months of full-time experience as a Stockroom Attendant I.

     

    Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.

    $54,732.00 annual
