    Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai'i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children. With 253 beds, the not-for-profit hospital delivers 6,000 babies a year, and is also a medical teaching and research facility. Specialty services for patients throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific Region include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport and high-risk perinatal care. Over 1,400 employees and more than 700 physicians provide specialty care at Kapi'olani. The hospital is home to the Kapi'olani Women’s Center and the Women’s Cancer Center, and offers numerous community programs and services, such as specialty pediatric clinics, the Kapi'olani Child Protection Center and the Sex Abuse Treatment Center.

     

    Our Imaging Services offer a wide range of technologies from simple X-rays to complicated interventional radiological procedures. Our highly trained professionals and state-of-the-art facilities provide quality imaging services for patient diagnosis and treatment, including: Diagnostic Radiology, Computerized Tomography, Mammography, Ultrasonography, Nuclear Medicine, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Electroencephalography, Electrocardiogram, Holter Monitoring and Echocardiography.

     

    If you have outstanding interpersonal skills and an upbeat personality, you might be ideal for the Registrar of Ancillary Services position, where you would support the management and administrative departments of Kapi‘olani as a gatekeeper and receptionist for patient appointments in the Imaging department. This would cover a variety of areas, such as performing registration procedures, filing patient records, entering data and answering the phones. We are looking for someone bright and helpful who pays strong attention to detail, enjoys working with others in a team-oriented atmosphere and is committed to helping our organization deliver the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.
