Required Skills:
RF Module Engineer Responsibilities:
1. Drive RF system architecture, requirements and validation requirements based on product requirements.
2. Design, model, simulate, and analyze RF systems for optimal cost/performance/size tradeoffs to meet overall system requirements.
3. Develop transceiver line up, frequency planning and RFIC performance targets.
4. Interface, evaluate and collaborate with third party chipset vendors on their product roadmap and offerings.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful RF system implementation.
6. Drive RF new technologies for adoption to Facebook products.
7. Prototype and debug new RF systems in the lab.
8. Correlate measured data with system models.
9. 15% international travel required.
Minimum Qualifications:

10. Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 6 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation
11. Requires 6 years of experience in the following:
12. 1. Experience with transceiver architectures and their impairments
13. 2. Experience with RF system level simulation tools (e.g. MATLAB, Simulink, SystemVue, ADS)
14. 3. RF architecture, RF link budget and co-existence analysis
15. 4. Regulatory requirements (e.g. FCC)
16. 5. RF system level simulations and architecture/optimization and
17. 6. Experience in wireless standards and how they impact RF/PHY requirements
Public Compensation:
$205,898/year to $231,110/year + bonus + equity + benefits
