Description
Burns & McDonnell's Corporate Marketing department is seeking three (3) Go-To-Market Section Managers. The Go-To-Market Section Managers will develop and execute data-driven, customer-centric campaigns that drive market adoption and revenue growth. These roles leverage an advanced AI-powered technology stack to craft high-impact strategies that seamlessly integrate sales and marketing efforts. Leading a self-executing go-to-market team, the Go-To-Market Managers lead market strategies, analyze target audiences, refine messaging, orchestrate channels and leverage market insights to create campaigns that deliver sustained competitive advantage. With a deep understanding of the industry, market trends, competitive landscapes and buyer behavior, they transform insights into scalable strategies that accelerate business growth and long-term success.
+ Provide leadership to the team; direct and coordinate work assignments and review performance to ensure the efficient, cost-effective utilization of staff.
+ Responsible for profitable growth of the department; ensuring staff levels, staff loading, and staff assignments meet project requirements.
+ Implement, apply and support company, department, global practice and/or regional office programs and initiatives; successfully navigating and managing change within the section.
+ Provide expert-level guidance and support.
+ Manage department budget and expenditure of funds.
+ Prepare and present workload and monthly reports to department.
+ Responsible for the recruitment, development, training, and retention of staff.
+ Responsible for conducting performance evaluations for department staff.
+ Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to the department.
+ Responsible for interpreting the organization's policies, purposes, and goals to staff.
+ Responsible for overall QA/QC process adherence.
+ Enforce compliance with company and site safety policies.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
+ Complies with all policies and standards.
Account Management
+ Serve as a trusted strategic go-to-market advisor to global practice leaders to develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns that directly drive sales growth and exceptional customer experience.
+ Serve as a partner with global practice leaders, marketing teams and the go-to-market team and/or corporate marketing department to execute strategies and deliverables to help achieve business objectives.
Campaign Management
+ Develop and execute strategic marketing campaigns tailored to business objectives, whether Go-to-Market (GTM), Account-Based Marketing (ABM) or Brand Awareness.
+ Use AI-enabled insights and predictive analytics to determine the right approach, messaging, and distribution channels. Monitor real-time performance metrics, optimize engagement through A/B testing, and refine strategies using automation tools.
+ Make sure campaigns are effectively nurtured, personalized, and data-driven to maximize impact, drive conversions, and achieve measurable business growth.
Market Insights and Research
+ Leverage AI powered technology analytic/s teams and tools (HubSpot, Dodge Analytics, AlphaSense, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc) to track industry, market and competitive trends to develop data-based marketing decisions.
+ Develop market intelligence reports and analysis to enhance marketing campaigns.
+ Partner with business development and marketing teams to integrate market research into sales strategies, enabling smarter engagement with prospects and clients.
Sales Enablement
+ Leverage sales enablement tools (Hubspot, CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.) and work collaboratively with go-to-market team to monitor customer interactions, conversions and lead generations to nurture and refine campaigns.
+ Collaborate with customer success operations team to leverage insights for marketing and sales enhancements.
Thought Leadership and Media Relations
+ Serve as a media relations strategist, building and maintaining strong relationships with targeted journalists, connecting them with our subject matter experts and becoming the go-to source for trends, project profiles and industry insights.
+ Integrate prompting, writing and editing skills with AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT and HubSpot Remix to develop a variety of earned and owned content to engage and convert key audiences and secure targeted media placements.
+ Prepare executives and subject matter experts (SMEs) for media interviews, speaking engagements and industry events, providing briefing materials and real-time analytics on media impact.
+ Identify credible industry awards to spotlight projects and position our people.
Social Media
+ Develop social media strategies leveraging organic and paid media to achieve and monitor desired campaign results.
+ Use HubSpot Remix and other AI powered marketing technology to develop content, imagery and video scripting to drive efficiencies and heightened engagement across platforms.
+ Identify key leaders to develop social media strategies on their own channels to position as thought leaders in their industries and drive their following, engagement and support client zippering strategies.
+ Utilize predictive AI tools to determine the best content formats, posting times, and audience engagement strategies, optimizing campaign performance.
Client Events
+ Plan and execute memorable and immersive client experiences, such as industry conferences, specialized owned events and exclusive client strategy sessions and entertainment events.
+ Partner with business development and marketing team members to ensure seamless brand experiences at all client interaction points, from initial outreach to post-project follow-ups.
Photography, Video, and Visualization
+ Manage multi-channel visual storytelling, collaborating with designers, videographers and AI powered creative tools to produce high-quality content.
+ Utilize AI powered design and video platforms (Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Wistia, etc.) to streamline creative production and improve content efficiency.
+ Ensure consistency in brand imagery, video assets and multimedia campaigns, leveraging automation tools for versioning and customization at scale.
Project Management
+ Lead cross-functional go-to-market projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with overall business objectives.
+ Use AI powered project management tools (Monday.com) to automate workflows, track deliverables and optimize resource allocation.
+ Develop project roadmaps and success metrics to develop and execute deliverables within the go-to-market team to increase efficiencies and project speed.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
+ Minimum of 5 years related professional experience in marketing or a related field required.
+ Previous leadership and/or management experience is preferable.
+ Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients.
+ Position requires the ability to thoughtfully and positively influence, lead, and manage change.
+ Must possess strong project management skills and a strategic perspective.
+ Must be expert in the use of computer software (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
+ Preferred qualifications:
+ Proficiency in ChatGPT, HubSpot, HubSpot Remix, CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Wistia and other technology tools and platforms as needed.
+ Expertise in developing sales-driven content and optimizing ABM strategies.
+ Strong experience in media outreach, press release writing, and thought leadership positioning.
+ Expertise in organic and paid campaigns across LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
+ Strong writing, editing, AI prompting and brand storytelling and thought leadership skills across multiple formats.
+ Experience with AI powered analytics tools to measure campaign success and refine strategies.
+ Able to understand the industry, provide analysis of market insights, identify opportunities and craft innovative marketing and PR strategies.
+ Consistently utilizes analytics to drive strategy and optimize the go-to-market effectiveness and marketing ROI.
+ Works effectively across teams, fostering strong partnerships.
+ Anticipates and responds to internal and external audience needs using data-driven insights.
+ Takes initiative and ownership to achieve business objectives.
+ Thrives in a fast-changing environment, embracing innovation and technology.
+ Tests, learns, and refines marketing campaigns using real-time data and performance analytics.
