    Job Summary

    We’re looking for a Healthcare Recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. This isn’t cookie-cutter recruiting. With limited resources, tight timelines, and federal compliance standards, you’ll need to be creative, strategic, and relentless in finding top healthcare talent. You’ll manage the full cycle—from sourcing to onboarding—while keeping candidate experience and client satisfaction at the heart of everything you do.

    What You’ll Do

    + Full-Cycle Recruiting:Own the process from outreach to offer, placing RNs, LPNs, CNAs, Surgical Techs, and more into VA facilities and federal contracts.

    + Source Smarter:Work across platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn, healthcare boards) and get creative with outreach strategies to engage passive candidates.

    + Be a Partner:Collaborate with hiring managers to understand contract requirements, anticipate staffing needs, and provide market-driven insights.

    + Stay Compliant:Navigate credentialing, licensure, and federal contract standards with precision.

    + Guide Onboarding:Help candidates move smoothly through screenings, verifications, and first-day readiness.

    + Measure & Improve:Track metrics like time-to-fill and pipeline health, then use the data to improve speed and quality.

    + Build Relationships:Create long-term trust with talent communities, ensuring they see Vighter as a reliable partner.

    + Adapt & Problem-Solve:No two days look the same—you’ll pivot quickly, troubleshoot challenges, and deliver results under pressure.

    What You Bring

    + Education:Bachelor’s in Business, HR, or related field preferred.

    + Experience:2+ years of full-cycle recruitment, healthcare staffing strongly preferred.

    + Skills:

    + Confident with Applicant Tracking Systems (Paycom experience a plus).

    + Expert at sourcing and networking across multiple platforms.

    + Strong communicator who builds rapport with candidates and managers alike.

    + Resourceful and adaptable—you make things happen even with limited tools.

    + Requirements:

    + Ability to pass a government background check and drug screening.

    + Flexibility to thrive in a dynamic, mission-focused environment.

    + While the role is based in San Antonio, you’ll often work independently with accountability for results.
