    The Opportunity:

    Serve as a Property Book Specialist supporting Special Operations Command. South’s operations, activities and investments in its area of responsibility.

    Responsibilities:

    + Assists the Property Book Officer (PBO) with the administration of SOCSOUTH unit and installation property accountability.

    + Supports property issuance and turn-ins while completing accountability documents. Assists units with final disposition of turned-in property.

    + Assists the Property Book Officer with both periodic and 100% inventories.

    + Supports battle-rhythm events within the command and with mission partners.

    + Supports command participation in named exercises or training events.

    + Coordinates or collaborates with other governmental organizations as required to solidify operations, activities, and investments.

    + Provides verbal or written products for the PBO such as Property Accountability standard operating procedures, property annexes to deliberate or crisis-action plans, or training exercise property shipment and accountability support.

    Qualifications:

    _Required:_

    + Current SECRET security clearance.

    + Be eligible for a Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance.

    + At least 3 years’ experience working in a military supply or logistics system.

    + The ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.

    + College credits towards a degree in a related discipline.

    + A current Tourist Passport with an expiration date more than 6 months away

    _Desired:_

    + Spanish language capability

    + A fundamental understanding of Program Management Office operations and management.

    The proposed salary range for this position is:

    $51,800-$106,200
