The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer to join the Customer Success organization. This individual will partner with Engineering on the data pipeline, and then use advanced SQL, Python and other languages to transform large data sets and create outputs to feed various tools used by our customer facing teams. The Data Engineer will play a critical role in enabling strategic initiatives such as Customer 360, Digital CS campaign engine, automated Product Health Diagnostics, predictive churn models and Power BI dashboards.

This role will be a technical individual contributor reporting to the Senior Director, Strategy & Operations, Customer Office.

Your day-to-day

+ Collaborate closely with Engineering - Business Applications team to ensure a robust data pipeline is in place in our AWS infrastructure (e.g., S3, Lamda, Glue, Redshift)

+ Partner with Customer Success subject matter experts to define data requirements and transformation logic

+ Use SQL, Python, and other data processing languages to implement transformation logic to produce outputs that enable data-driven customer success initiatives

+ Develop scalable, reusable code for reduce delivery time for future initiatives

+ Ensure data quality, consistency, and scalability across large, complex datasets.

What you bring to the team

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.

+ 5+ years of experience in data engineering / analytics, preferably in a SaaS or technology company.

+ Advanced knowledge of SQL and Python for data manipulation, pipeline automation, and business logic implementation.

+ Experience with modern data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Databricks, or equivalent).

+ Extensive hands-on use of Excel

+ Strong collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

+ Ability to work on multiple projects at once

+ Ownership mentality – proactively solving problems and assuming accountability for results

+ Proven ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets as set out below. Pay within these ranges varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. The range provided may represent a candidate range and may not reflect the full range for an individual tenured employee. This role may be eligible for variable compensation and/or equity. We offer a competitive benefits package, including flexible time off, a comprehensive well-being program with two paid Wellbeing Days and two paid Volunteer Days per year, plus a three-week Work from Anywhere option.

SF Bay Area, New York City Metro Area:

Base Pay Range: 132,160.00 - 207,680.00 USD

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska:

Base Pay Range: 109,410.00 - 171,930.00 USD

All other cities and states excluding those listed above:

Base Pay Range: 98,700.00 - 155,100.00 USD
