    The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:

    RTX Corporation has an opening for a Senior Manager, Business Systems/ Transformation in Farmington, CT. This is a hybrid role, requiring working at the Farmington, CT office 3 days per week and allowing remote work 2 days per week. Less than 10% national and international travel.

    What YOU will do:

    + Tier 2 support for HR system related issues

    + Knowledge in HR business processes

    + Knowledge in Workday platform and Learning Module, and EV5 Payroll application

    + Act as liaison between Regional Lead, Functional COE, and the HR BU’s

    + Work with HR to organize and facilitate system related issues such as EIB loads & Security Assignments

    + Coordinate the communication to HR and Payroll system stakeholders (HR, Payroll, AMS provider, etc.) for system related issues such system outages, changes, new functionality, etc.

    + Identify opportunities for system and process improvements and work with your supervisor to execute plan

    + Ensure the system stakeholders have the proper training and documentation for data entry, reporting, data flow, end to end processes, role and responsibilities, contact information, escalation path, etc. and communicate changes as needed to the stakeholders

    + Ensure the local HR and Payroll teams are aligned with the global HR roadmap and we successful communicate needs and collaborate on system changes, enhancements, updates, etc.

    + Maintain up to date system documentation that required to be produced for SOX and External audit requirement for Payroll application.

    + Review errors in the integration and provide systemic solutions to the HR team to bring HR data into the payroll application.

    + Identify process improvement area for repeated failures, provide solution and advise to technical team.

    + Direct and oversee various team members workload and engage them in other project related activities.

    + Created ad hoc reports for HR team to audit manual entries done in payroll system and provide insight to the management.

    + Manage CRM cases, queues and forward the cases to various system owners and stakeholders.

    + Work closely with change management and release management for any new enhancements and change request

    + Manage process for Mass data upload for configuration tables in ADP Enterprise based on the request from HR business partner/Payroll.

    + Troubleshoot and provide solution on the data errors that come out from HR/Payroll integration.

    + Create escalation matrix for the production support processes for new applications.

    + Create a cross-functional knowledge base within the team to ensure there is no dependency.

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    + Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Information Technology or a related field and 8 years of progressive experience as a Manager, HR/Payroll Digital Services or related role. In the alternative, at least a master’s degree or its equivalent in Information Technology or a related field and five years of experience as a Manager, HR/Payroll Digital Services or related role would be acceptable.

    + At least 7 years of experience in ERP application supporting HR and Payroll modules: PeopleSoft, Workday, ADP, Oracle or SAP.

    + At least 7 years of experience managing security administration in any of the ERP Applications.

    + At least 7 years supporting production support activities.

    + At least 5 years of experience in database development in writing complex SQL, PL/SQL queries in Oracle, SQL server, or MySQL.

    Work Location:

    Farmington, CT. This is a hybrid role, requiring working at the Farmington, CT office 3 days per week and allowing remote work 2 days per week.

     

    The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

     

    RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

     

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
