Summary:

+ The Assistant Nurse Manager (Supervisor) is proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective management skills.

+ Supports the Nurse Manager in a supervisory capacity while managing team member and patient care issues, ongoing team member performance appraisal and the hiring, counseling and terminating process.

+ Acts as a role model for other team members and the communication of organizational information.

+ Promotes evidence-based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Required Experience: 2 years RN Acute, Post-Acute, or Sub-Acute experience

+ **Preferred Experience:** 1 year of Leadership experience

+ **Strongly** **Preferred:** Perioperative experience

Education, Certifications, & Licensure:

+ **Required:** Bachelors Degree

+ **Required:** BLS

+ **Required:** Registered Nurse License

+ **Preferred:** CNOR
