Job Summary:

Methodist Physician Services Group is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible General Surgeon to join our growing team at Methodist Westover Hills Hospital in San Antonio, TX. This is a hospital-employed position offering the opportunity to practice in a collaborative, patient-centered environment within one of the region’s most respected healthcare systems.

Position Details:

+ Employed opportunity with Methodist Physician Services Group

+ Bread-and-butter general surgery with opportunity to incorporate advanced laparoscopic and minimally invasive techniques

+ Shared call coverage with other general surgeons in the system

+ Supportive hospital administration and access to state-of-the-art surgical suites and equipment

Qualified Candidates:

+ MD or DO degree

+ Board-certified or board-eligible in General Surgery

+ Texas medical license (or eligibility to obtain)

+ Strong clinical skills and commitment to high-quality patient care

+ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Methodist Westover Hills Hospital is a modern, full-service facility now open with 54 inpatient beds, a 15-bed emergency department including a dedicated trauma room, and 10 advanced procedural suites and cath labs.
