    With a wide network of stations across the country, Sinclair Inc is creating a new content hub to bridge our local communities to their favorite stars by celebrating the journey from small town roots to global stardom. Through engaging interviews, exclusive behind-the-scenes content, and high-sharable original digital originals, we will highlight the stories behind the stars, showcasing how their hometowns shaped their paths to success.

     

    To help bring this vision to life, we are looking for an experienced digital content leader to oversee the team of writers, producers, and editors tasked with creating the next name in entertainment reporting, Hometown To Hollywood. As Supervising Producer you will play a key role in shaping the overall vision of the brand and manage the day-to-day creation and distribution of content across our sites and social handles (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, and TikTok). To succeed in this role, you must be well-versed in the language of the internet, hyperaware of social trends, and possess the ability to articulate a creative vision.

     

    _Only candidates with experience working in and reporting on Entertainment will be considered, and you must have a rolodex to match_ .

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Lead daily content strategy sessions and assign story coverage

    + Manage both short-term and long-lead editorial calendars to ensure a constant flow of content across our sites and socials

    + Act as a liaison for our brand to networks/studios/streamers and be a vocal advocate for our brand

    + Review pre-release materials and lead the creative team in the development and execution of original digital content at junkets and content days

    + Attend premieres/events and conduct interviews/capture images

    + Shoot/Direct/Edit field productions and in-studio content

    + Collaborate with the post-production team and see all edits through to delivery, including the creation of any necessary marketing assets

    + Coordinate with national and local news teams on scheduling and distribution of content

    REQUIREMENTS

    + 10+ years experience in entertainment news managing digital editorial teams

    + Experience producing and editing content at premieres, press junkets, and live events.

    + Familiarity with the industry press cycle, and existing relationships with publicity teams at networks/studios/streamers/labels

    + Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshops, After Effects, etc) and/or other creative software

    + A strong preference for applicants with experience in front of the camera, and a dynamic personality to match

    The base salary compensation range for this role is $145,000 to $165,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
