Recreation Coordinator – LIFE/PACE Program
The Recreation Coordinator plans and leads therapeutic and recreational activities for frail elderly participants in the LIFE/PACE program. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, this role contributes to individualized care plans, conducts assessments, and ensures activities support participants’ physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Responsibilities include developing activity calendars, facilitating group and individual programs, documenting progress, collaborating with staff and caregivers, and training activity assistants. The Coordinator also manages supplies within budget and ensures compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.

Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s in Recreation Therapy or Human Services preferred.
+ 2+ years of experience in recreational/social programs with elderly populations.
+ Certification or equivalent experience per state requirements.
+ Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic care environment.
