Responsibilities

Are you a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist committed to optimizing patient outcomes? Join our collaborative, fast-paced environment!

You'll deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical services, making a direct patient impact, collaborating across disciplines, and guiding future pharmacy professionals.

You will:

+ **Clinical Documentation:** Document activities and interventions (consults, patient teachings).

+ **Order Verification & Dispensing:** Interpret, verify, enter, label, and dispense medications accurately and timely.

+ **Quality Assurance:** Rigorously verify/check medications prepared by other pharmacy personnel.

+ **Expert Drug Information:** Communicate drug information to patients and health professionals.

+ **Problem Resolution:** Resolve drug-related problems by consulting with healthcare providers; clarify orders and assist in drug selection/therapeutic regimens.

+ **Clinical Services:** Provide basic clinical services for all age groups as required by policy.

+ **System & Team Management:** Maintain knowledge of automated systems; provide direction/guidance to technicians.

+ **Education & Mentorship:** Participate in training/mentoring pharmacy students, interns, technicians, residents, and other professionals. (May serve as Residency Program Director/Coordinator.)

+ **Compliance & Ongoing Education:** Adhere to regulatory requirements; complete mandatory system/department education.

+ **Patient Counseling:** Provide comprehensive patient counseling and drug information.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

+ **Profound Pharmaceutical Knowledge:** Strong grasp of pharmacy services, practice concepts, laws, and regulations.

+ **Exceptional Clinical Judgment:** Ability to assess complex medication profiles and make critical decisions.

+ **Superior Communication & Leadership:** Effectively consult, teach, and collaborate; guide and mentor.

+ **Required Education:** Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree.

+ **Required Licensure & Certifications:** Oregon Pharmacist License, BLS-CPR.

+ Preferred: ACLS.

Roseburg is located on Interstate 5 in Southern Oregon's scenic Douglas County. The community is nestled in a lush forested region known as the 100 Valleys of the Umpqua. Pay Range

$62.95 - $93.63 /hour
