    Responsible for the MAPFRE USA portfolio reporting necessary to comply with MAPFRE S.A.'s Internal Investment Control & Risk System (CIMA), MAPFRE USA, IFRS, Statutory, Tax and Risk guidelines. This includes analyzing, developing and preparing various reports for Accounting, Portfolio Management, and Portfolio presentations. Assume a leadership role in corporate and subsidiary related investment accounting and management initiatives that may include banking services, reconciliations, system implementations, workflow impacts, risk management, investment guidelines and process improvements. Develop and maintain reports used to assist Executive Management with investment decisions. Prepare and/or review monthly journal entries and reconciliations.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    **Education:** Bachelor's Degree or professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, or equivalent, related experience.

    **Experience:** 4 - 6 years - or Associates Degree equivalent plus 6 - 8 years.

     

    Experience working in a team setting with demonstrated leadership role in projects.

     

    Proficient in Excel and strong aptitude with database and report writing applications.

     

    Strong analytical, organizational and accounting skills.A high level of accuracy and dependability.

     

    Investment accounting and reporting experience preferred.

     

    Strong desire to develop overall investment knowledge.
