MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Coordinate development, refinement, and execution of technology strategic planning in support of school districts educational strategic and operational goals

+ Collaborate with district administrators to help make informed decisions related to technology and associated professional learning opportunities for district staff

+ Coordinate a broad range of technology-based resources, maximizing the availability of their use

+ Lead cross-functional advisory committees that support adoption and implementation of technology in all aspects of school business

+ Build awareness in district of available SCRIC and BOCES services and their role in support of technology in schools

+ Assist school districts with short and long-range technology budget planning and identify cost optimization opportunities

+ Regularly present information to district staff in documents and presentations

+ Advise SCRIC management teams to guide decisions and/or make informed service adjustments

Job Qualifications

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

+ A Master’s degree and appropriate NYS certification as a School District Administrator (SDA) or School District Leader (SDL)

+ Prior teaching and/or administrative experience (preferred)

+ Experience with instructional technology in the classroom

+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills
