    Job Title: Forklift Operator

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Forklift Operator with opportunities to work either the Dawn shift from 5am to 1:30pm or the Mid shift from 1pm to 9:30pm. This role requires prior stand-up forklift experience, as you will be expected to perform with minimal training. Your primary responsibility will be to handle freight as a forklift driver, involving tasks such as unloading/loading freight from containers, palletizing, and performing quality checks on products. All candidates must be willing to lift 50-75 lbs. regularly.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate stand-up forklifts efficiently and safely.

    + Unload and load freight from containers.

    + Palletize and perform quality checks on products.

    + Use RF scanners to cross-reference and ensure accuracy.

    + Manually load and unload trucks.

    + Understand supply chain processes by offloading initially.

    + Pass a forklift test prior to starting the role.

    Essential Skills

    + Cross Dock Experience in warehousing.

    + Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. repeatedly.

    + Attention to detail with reading numbers.

    + Willingness to unload/load trucks for the entire shift.

    + Minimum 6 months of 'Stand Up' forklift experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous experience operating Crown Electric standup loader/cherry picker/stand up reach forklift.

    + Previous experience operating various styles of sit-down forklifts.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a dynamic expeditors warehouse with products stacked on racks and dock doors surrounding the facility. The warehouse features medium-sized teams (10+ employees) with forklifts constantly moving in and out of containers, ensuring a bustling and engaging environment.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
