    Electrical Maintenance Technician – CNC Machinery Focus

    **Location:** Lafayette, IN

    Shifts Available:

    + 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM

    + 3rd Shift: 11:30 PM – 7:30 AM

    + ( _Initial training on 1st shift for 2–4 weeks) -_ **_Could stay on 1st shift depending on needs._**

    Overview

     

    We are actively seeking a **skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician** with strong experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machinery. This role involves working with over 35 OEM machine brands and a wide range of equipment including:

     

    + CNC mills, lathes, machining centers

    + ABB robots

    + P&H cranes/hoists

    + Conveyors, furnaces, large part washers

    + CNC machine tools with Fanuc, Siemens, and Modicon controllers

    Key Responsibilities

    + Troubleshoot and repair:

    + AC/DC analog and digital drives

    + Sensors, cables, wiring, drive faults, encoders

    + 480V systems

    + Connect laptops to machines for diagnostics and repairs

    + Use Maintenance Management System (MMS) to:

    + Generate work orders

    + Log maintenance activities via company-provided computer/tablet

    + Prioritize repairs based on equipment value stream

    Essential Skills

    + CNC equipment troubleshooting and repair

    + PLC controls: go online and edit ladder logic

    + Electrical troubleshooting via HMI

    + Experience with control systems:

    + Allen Bradley

    + Siemens

    + Rockwell

    + Fanuc

    + Knowledge of AC/DC power and Glass Scale Linear Encoders

    Additional Qualifications (Not required)

    + Associate Degree in Industrial Automation (preferred)

    + Proven ability to independently diagnose and repair CNC equipment

    + Strong knowledge in electrical machine repair

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $45.00/hr.
