*Description*
*Summary:*
Reporting to the Tax Accounting Manager within the Nuvance Accounting department, the Tax Staff Analyst will be responsible primarily for preparation of various tax returns including reconciling general ledger data to tax returns and various tax accounting projects.
*Responsibilities:*
1.Assists the Senior Tax Analyst with the preparation of the 990 and 990T (tax returns for exempt organizations) for all Entities.
2.Assists the Senior Tax Analyst with mailing and tracking returns not eligible for e-filing.
3.Prepares timely tax workpapers to maintain accuracy and integrity of tax return data. Reconciles general ledger data to tax returns.
4.Participates in development and maintenance of INFOR system training & education to optimize system utilization.
5.Coordinates with Accounting department staff to understand account activity and ensure appropriate presentation on tax filings.
6.Maintains records to complete regulatory and tax filings related to property or abandoned property etc.
7.Assists in maintaining tax department files including completed returns and extensions and public disclosure copies.
8.Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position and other duties as assigned.

*Desired*: Consolidation or integration of business systems; leading strategic initiatives. Experience with financial systems, Office suite (Excel, Word, PPT, Access).Masters Degree in Business or Finance, CPA
*Education:* Bachelor level degree
