    Job Title: Phlebotomist

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Phlebotomist Float for Monmouth County. This role requires a candidate with their own vehicle, as you will be required to travel between locations. The position demands a minimum of 1 year of experience with high-volume blood draws and experience in pediatrics. Flexibility is crucial, as shifts can change weekly or even on the day of in emergency situations. You will be the sole phlebotomist in the office, handling approximately 20-30 patients daily, and will be responsible for processing samples using a centrifuge.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct high-volume blood draws with precision and care.

    + Perform blood draws on pediatric patients.

    + Process blood samples using a centrifuge after collection.

    + Provide excellent customer service to all patients.

    + Adapt to changing schedules, including potential day-of shift changes in emergency situations.

    + Travel between different locations as required with your own vehicle.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in phlebotomy and blood draw techniques.

    + Experience with pediatric blood draws.

    + Centrifuge operation and laboratory sample processing.

    + Excellent customer service skills.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Phlebotomy certification is required.

    + Experience with butterfly needles is preferred.

    + Ability to work independently as the sole phlebotomist in the office.

    Work Environment

    The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 7 PM, with availability required on Saturday and Sunday. You will work an 8-hour shift within this timeframe.

    This is a full-time position based out of Monmouth County, New Jersey

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $21.00/hr.
