Intermediate Interior Designer (Marmol Radziner)

Job Description

We are seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer to develop and manage design projects under the guidance of the Design Director and Project Manager. The role involves all aspects of interior design including programming, space planning, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation. You will also be responsible for selecting furniture, finishes, and lighting for various projects and producing presentation drawings to effectively and creatively communicate design ideas. Collaboration with the team and external consultants is essential.

Responsibilities

+ Develop design projects with oversight from the Design Director and Project Manager.

+ Engage in all aspects of interior design including programming, space planning, and conceptual design.

+ Select furniture, finishes, and lighting for projects.

+ Produce presentation drawings to effectively communicate design ideas.

+ Collaborate with the internal team and external consultants.

Essential Skills

+ Five to nine years of Interior Design experience.

+ Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited school.

+ Advanced knowledge of current versions of REVIT and AutoCAD.

+ Fluency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, InDesign, and 3D rendering software.

+ Excellent graphic skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Knowledge of finishes, materials, furniture, and specifications.

+ Experience in workplace and/or hospitality design.

+ Knowledge of Rhino, Twinmotion, and Lumion is preferred.

+ Experience with construction administration and project management.

It features a large model shop with both laser and 3D print modeling, and a spacious open studio. The position offers a hybrid schedule with workdays on Tuesday and Friday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $98000.00/yr.
