Description We are looking for a Legal Assistant to join our team in Lubbock, Texas. In this role, you will provide vital administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of legal proceedings and office management. This is a Contract position, offering an excellent opportunity for growth and long-term potential.

Responsibilities:

• Draft and prepare trial folders to support legal proceedings.

• Assist with the organization and management of civil litigation tasks.

• Maintain and update filing systems in compliance with established procedures.

• Input accurate data into computer systems to ensure seamless record-keeping.

• Manage calendars and scheduling to coordinate meetings, deadlines, and appointments.

• Handle e-filing and court filings efficiently.

• Perform receptionist duties, including answering calls and greeting clients.

• Support the team with various administrative tasks to enhance productivity.

• Ensure documents are drafted and reviewed with attention to detail. Requirements

• Previous experience in law office administration or a related field is required.

• Familiarity with civil litigation processes and legal documentation.

• Proficiency in e-filing and managing court filings.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

• Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with data entry and drafting legal documents is preferred.
