    Job Title: IT Systems Support Specialist

    Job Description

    This role focuses on providing day-to-day operational support to ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of our systems infrastructure. The position involves supporting cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvements in system processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SQL, a strong understanding of ERP systems, and a passion for solving technical challenges in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide first-line support for ERP users across manufacturing, finance, inventory, and operations departments.

    + Maintain and optimize the ERP database, including backups, performance tuning, and patch management.

    + Collaborate with internal stakeholders to analyze business requirements and configure ERP modules accordingly.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve ERP-related issues, coordinating with Syspro support when necessary.

    + Assist in ERP upgrades, module implementations, and integrations with other systems such as CRM, MES, and WMS.

    + Deploy and manage applications in Docker containers, optimizing Docker configurations for development and production environments.

    + Develop and maintain documentation for ERP configurations, workflows, and user training materials.

    + Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal controls and industry regulations.

    + Support reporting and data extraction needs using ERP tools and participate in cross-functional projects to enhance ERP functionality and business efficiency.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.

    + 2+ years of experience in a Systems Engineer, IT Operations, or similar role.

    + Strong understanding of ERP workflows and modules in manufacturing, including BOMs, work orders, inventory, production planning, and General Ledger.

    + Proven experience in database management with strong SQL skills, including the ability to write complex queries, stored procedures, and perform performance tuning.

    + Hands-on experience with ERP systems and integrating custom applications with ERP.

    + Solid understanding of Windows and/or Linux server environments.

    + Knowledge of reporting tools such as Crystal Reports or Power BI.

    + Experience working with third-party IT vendors and managing vendor relationships.

    + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    + Strong communication and collaboration abilities with technical and non-technical teams.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience with scripting languages.

    + Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure or AWS and hybrid environments.

    + Experience with data integration tools and APIs.

    + Experience with Syspro customization tools such as e.net Solutions and Workflow Services.

    + Understanding of manufacturing processes and lean principles.

    + Experience with system integrations and API usage.

     

    Work Environment

     

    This position is based in a manufacturing facility and requires onsite presence from Monday to Friday.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $29.81 - $37.50/hr.
