    Robert Half is seeking a skilled and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our Full-Time Engagement Professionals (FTEP) program. As a Full-Time Engagement Professional, you are a permanent employee of Robert Half and will support diverse clients by managing their critical accounting needs and improving operational workflows.     Key duties and responsibilities include:

    + Comprehensive Accounting Management: Handle all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing.

    + Financial Reporting: Prepare and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements in compliance with GAAP.

    + Budgetary Oversight: Assist clients with the creation, monitoring, and analysis of budgets and financial forecasts.

    + Tax and Compliance: Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax laws, ensuring client adherence to required standards.

    + Audit Preparation: Provide documentation and support for internal and external audit processes.

    + Process Improvement: Assess current accounting methodologies and recommend efficiency improvements to client workflows.

    + Software Utilization: Work with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or other ERP platforms to manage and maintain client financial data effectively.

    + Client Communication: Serve as a reliable point of contact (POC) for clients, offering insights and recommendations tailored to their specific needs.

    Requirements

    Candidates for the FTEP Full Charge Bookkeeper role must meet the following qualifications:

    + A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines is preferred.

    + A minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience, with substantial time spent performing full-charge bookkeeping duties.

    + Strong proficiency in accounting software programs such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or other ERP systems, alongside advanced Excel skills.

    + Comprehensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and familiarity with tax regulations.

    + Exceptional analytical and organizational skills, with a meticulous eye for detail.

    + Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with varied stakeholders across multiple industries.

    + Prior experience supporting audits or streamlining financial processes is a plus.
