    Description

    Jennifer Fukumae with Robert Half Finance and Accounting is partnering with a fiduciary Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm specializing in retirement planning and investment supervisory services. The firm has grown to manage more than $1.48 billion in assets as of December 2022.

     

    They are seeking a Finance Operations Associate to join their growing San Ramon team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across finance, operations, and administration while supporting a collaborative and professional office environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Financial Reporting & Accounting: Assist with QuickBooks entries, reconciliations, and monthly reporting.

    + Payroll Support: Help with payroll processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

    + HR Administration: Support onboarding, benefits coordination, and other HR-related tasks.

    + Office Administration: Manage supplies, scheduling, and day-to-day office needs.

    + Technology Coordination: Provide basic IT troubleshooting and liaise with vendors as needed.

    + Special Projects: Partner with the Office Manager and Operations Manager on ad hoc initiatives.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    + 2+ years of experience in administrative, office, or operations-focused roles.

    + Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

    + Proficiency with Excel; experience with QuickBooks strongly preferred.

    + Familiarity with bill pay and/or accounts payable is a plus.

    + Comfortable wearing multiple hats and supporting a growing team.

    + Professional demeanor, strong interpersonal skills, and a “no task is too small” attitude.

    Preferred Experience

    + At least 6 months years of experience in Financial Services, ideally within Wealth Management or another RIA firm.

    + Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.

    + Ability to work well independently and collaboratively.

     

    Position: Full-time, Finance Operations Associate

     

    Comp: $75,000-$90,000 + bonus + Great Benefits Package + PTO + Paid Holidays
