    Hours per Pay Period: 1.00 = 80 hours every two weeks (Exempt)

    The Director of Provider Recruitment is responsible for developing and leading strategies to attract and retain highly qualified providers across the organization. Develops and maintains strong business partnerships with the Billings Clinic Leadership team to ensure alignment with clinical service needs and organizational growth objectives. Driven, forward-thinking, innovative, and digital media savvy, the Director is responsible for leading and executing the overall talent and workforce strategy to streamline the hiring and onboarding processes and improve overall retention. Ensures the interpretation and application of talent acquisition and workforce planning programs comply with company policies and procedures and all applicable laws. Cultivates a collaborative team environment and a strong service-oriented culture that ensures delivery of efficient, effective, high-quality talent and workforce planning services to meet customer and organizational needs. Exhibits a high level of professionalism in working with key internal and external contacts. Active contributor to the development of the overall Human Resources strategy.

    Essential Job Functions

    •Supports and models behaviors consistent with Billings Clinic’s mission, vision, values, code of business conduct and service expectations. Meets all mandatory organizational and departmental requirements. Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental and outside agency standards as it relates to the environment, employee, patient safety or job performance.

    •Collaborates as a strategic business partner with Billings Clinic and/or regional affiliate Leadership in the development and execution of provider workforce planning, recruitment and retention strategies.

    •Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organizational objectives and plans and conducting regular meetings with Leadership to determine the effectiveness of recruitment plans and efforts.

    •Participates in the job requisition approval and prioritization process

    •Participates in department tracers, job shadows, department rounding, attendance at department staff meetings, huddles, etc. to enhance communications and understanding of business needs.

    •Works with Leadership to develop and implement succession strategies and plans.

    •Responsible for successful recruitment of physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants including sourcing, screening, recruitment, coordination of interviews, site visits, referencing, credentialing, relocation, negotiating employment offers, orientation/onboarding, and retention of medical staff. Contracts with recruitment firms. Works with departments to anticipate recruitment needs. Researches and stay abreast of compensation issues effecting recruitment. Works with CMO, Clinic and VP Clinic Operations to ensure we have a talented team committed to accomplishing the goals and objectives of Billings Clinic.

    •Directs team in the building of applicant sources by researching, networking and marketing to community resources, employment agencies, colleges, universities and/or technology programs; association memberships, trade groups and industry contracts to develop pools of qualified candidates to meet business needs.

    •Markets Billings Clinic as an employer of choice through knowledge of programs/services, compensation and benefit offerings.

    •Develops strategy for presence at job fairs and college recruitment fairs.

    •Develops program and strategy to maintain regular contact with possible future candidates

    •Markets and creates interest in healthcare careers by presenting career information to diverse audiences and age groups

    •Markets job openings and attracts applicants by placing job advertisements, contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites, internet, digital media and professional networking sites

    •Administers the advertising budget, selection of agencies, media and approaches to employment advertising.

    •Manages all aspects of applicant tracking and evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications

    •Review resumes, conduct pre-screen interviews, reference, background and licensure checks and referring top talent.

    •Coordinates on-boarding and orientation scheduling processes

    •Develops review process to ensure compliance with policies and regulations related to provider recruitment.

    •Participates in short- and long-term planning and budget process for Human Resources. Is fiscally responsible and maintains expenses within agreed upon budgetary amounts.

    •Monitors and approves timecards, coordinates team commitments and work. Assists with performance, discipline, and annual evaluations of respective team.

    •Performs other duties as assigned or as needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Education

    •Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required

    •Preferred: Master’s Degree

    Experience

    •5-7 years of progressive recruitment experience

    •Five (5) years of leadership experience

    •Preferred: Five (5) years of physician, provider or executive recruitment

    •Preferred: Previous health care practice management for multiple specialties and/or previous leadership experience in provider recruitment

    •Experience with digital media in health care preferred

     

    Or an equivalent combination of education and experience relating to the above tasks, knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered
