Construction Controller

Anna Parson at Robert Half is partnering with a dynamic construction client in search of a systems savvy Construction Controller to lead their financial operations and drive organizational success.

Are you a skilled accounting professional with expertise in construction accounting and a passion for process improvement? This is your opportunity to build out a construction accounting function!

As the Construction Controller, you will:

+ Oversee all aspects of construction accounting, including financial reporting, budgeting, and cost tracking.

+ Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance.

+ Spearhead the implementation of a fully integrated work order system to track individual service calls.

+ Provide critical financial insights and strategic support to the leadership team.

+ Ensure adherence to industry-specific accounting regulations and best practices.

What We're Looking For:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA designation preferred.

+ Extensive experience in construction accounting, including job costing and work order processes.

+ Proven success in implementing technology solutions, particularly integrated systems for tracking service calls.

+ Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a process-driven mindset.

+ Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements
