Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to take a lead role in our corporate and fund accounting functions. This position is ideal for a candidate with a Big 4 or large public accounting background who wants to apply their skills in a high-growth, hands-on environment. The Senior Accountant will work closely with senior leadership and gain broad exposure to both corporate operations and fund accounting, while playing a critical role in scaling our finance function.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Accounting

+ Lead monthly close, reconciliations, and consolidated financial reporting.

+ Oversee accounts payable, payroll, expense management, and treasury functions.

+ Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.

+ Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen controls and efficiency.

Fund Accounting

+ Manage fund-level general ledger, reconciliations, and investor capital accounts.

+ Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements for funds and investment entities.

+ Support investor reporting, capital calls, and distribution notices.

+ Liaise with fund administrators, auditors, and tax providers to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

+ Assist with compliance reporting and investor due diligence requests.

Requirements

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s in Accounting/Finance preferred.

+ CPA license or CPA-eligible strongly preferred.

+ 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally from a Big 4 or top public accounting firm.

+ Solid understanding of GAAP; exposure to investment management, financial services, or private equity a plus.

+ Strong technical and analytical skills with attention to detail.

+ Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

+ High level of initiative with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
