Responsibilities
+ Develops and maintains systems that sustain zero harm to patients, excellent patient satisfaction results which would include implementing patient and family rounding that will provide an environment of teamwork, collaboration and patient process efficiencies.
+ Assesses plans, evaluates, and ensures all clinical processes are implemented and patient care best practices are in place to achieve metric targets and delivery of safe patient care.
+ Demonstrates knowledge of hospital functions, activities and interactions as related to physicians, patients, employees, and community.
+ Demonstrates knowledge of accreditation standards and other regulations
+ Demonstrates knowledge of health care economics and impact on hospital services
+ Maintains current knowledge on advances or conditions affecting hospital services
+ Demonstrates knowledge of personnel administration
+ Demonstrates knowledge of management methods and responsibilities
+ Understands, complies with, supports, explains and enforces hospital and ASC policies and procedures
+ Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.
+ Ability to correlate clinical data with patient’s medical and nursing care
+ Ability to set priorities
+ Ability to provide direction to others that is clear, concise and promotes efficiency throughout the clinical areas
+ Recognizes legal and policy limits of individual practice. Assists in the development of operating budget.
+ Assists in the development of operating budget.
+ Can demonstrate knowledge with metrics, operational and technical/clinical analysis
Qualifications
+ Master’s degree (M.S.N) preferred (some states a Master’s Degree is Required)
+ Bachelors of Nursing Required
+ Four to Ten years related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
+ Proven track record of growth and development in ASC’s and hospital expansions
+ Registered Nurse in the practicing state; CPR Certification
