Mental Health Specialist 1: $31.74 - $42.34 Hourly
Mental Health Specialist 2: $35.92 - $47.96 Hourly
About the Position
The Lane County Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team providing compassionate, evidence-based care to adults with opioid use disorder in an outpatient setting.
As a valued member of our treatment team, you will:
+ Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
+ Provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based approaches
+ Collaborate closely with a team of clinicians, peer support specialists, case managers, prescriber's, and medical professionals
+ Support long-term recovery and wellness for our clients with care, empathy, and professionalism
What We’re Looking For:
+ A Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) certification or registration as a Clinical Associate
+ A strong passion for serving individuals affected by substance use disorders
+ Experience or interest in Medication Assisted Treatment and recovery-oriented care

About the Division
The Lane County Medication Assisted Treatment Program uses a holistic model of treatment that embraces traditional abstinence based recovery as well as harm reduction principles. We have a small, but dedicated team who provides medication assisted treatment services to help program participants reduce and ultimately end the use of heroin and other opioid drugs.

Schedule: Monday - Friday; 6:00am - 3:00pm

QUALIFICATIONS
Mental Health Specialist 1 Training & Experience:
+ Master's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in a mental health field, psychology, counseling, social work or a related field.
+ One year of some experience working directly with mentally or emotionally disturbed clients in the provision of behavioral health services is highly desirable.
Mental Health Specialist 2 Training & Experience:
+ Master's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in a mental health field, psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
+ Two years of responsible professional mental health experience, including one year of experience specific to the program or area of assignment.
An equivalent combination of experience and training that will demonstrate the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.

Health insurance coverage becomes effective the first of the month following your first 30 days as an eligible employee.
Medical/Rx/Vision - Lane County offers medical, prescription and vision exam coverage for you and your eligible dependents. The plan options and costs per month for 2018 are outlined below:
If you enroll in the HDHP the County will contribute to your HSA: $1,500 (individual) or $3,000 (family) annually. This amount is prorated based on date of hire.
