In this role, you will lead a team and have general responsibility for coordinating daily warehouse activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of your assigned area. Your typical shift will be Tuesday - Saturday, 7:30 pm – 4:00 am. As a 3PL provider, we will count on your leadership skills to help drive excellent service for our valued customers.

Responsibilities

+ Supervise and develop the performance of your team through effective training, coaching, and motivational strategies

+ Drive a culture of belonging in a diverse workforce where all associates feel safe, valued, and included

+ Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide timely feedback to team members

+ Implement strategies to ensure the highest quality of work, optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity, and meet or exceed KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)

+ Ensure safe operations and healthy environments for employees, customers, vendors, and visitors

+ Ensure shipments are accurate and free of damage, product is counted, and all necessary records and reports are completed accurately and on time

+ Help maintain the security of the warehouse and assure the integrity of inventory

+ Implement continuous improvement action plans

+ Be flexible to work overtime, including weekends, and take on additional responsibilities as required

What we would like you to bring

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ 3+ years of experience in a warehouse environment

+ 2 or more years in a supervisory role

+ Experience with Continuous Improvement methodologies or Lean Six Sigma is a plus

+ Experience with AS400 and with any other WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Kuehne+Nagel reviews pay ranges regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay based on industry market data.
