Explore the Future of Entertainment Advertising
Join DIRECTV’s Advertising Sales team and gain hands-on experience in the fast-evolving world of Ad Sales. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to projects that directly impact on how we deliver and monetize content across platforms.
Depending on your interests and background, you’ll be placed in one of the following focus areas:
Brand & Product Marketing
+ Social Media reporting and engagement strategy
+ Sales Marketing support & KPI dashboard maintenance
+ Seasonal calendar development including event support and coordination
+ Industry monitoring and insight summation
Strategy
+ Pull, analyze and develop reports that track market health and contextualize performance
+ Develop strategic POV documents
+ Summarize market trends and developing recommendations aligned with our priorities
+ Synthesize outcomes and collaborate cross functionally to define action plans
Product/Business Development
+ Support all DIRECT IO business.
+ Gain real world experience utilizing CRM tools (Salesforce), AI (AskGrok) and SLACK.
+ Business analyst/contributor for implementing Inventory Management system and approval process.
+ Owns testing new software/application feature enabling employees to interact and Save Order data.
Who We’re Looking For
+ Students pursuing degrees in Advertising, Business, Marketing, Communications
+ Business mindset and collaborative work style
+ Passionate about TV, digital advertising, and Ad Tech and media technology
+ Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities
+ Ability to work independently and in team settings
+ Naturally inquisitive with a strong attention to detail
+ Strong affinity and interest in working hands on with systems and technology
+ Interest in software development from a business facing resource perspective
Program Details
+ Duration: 10-week hybrid internship (in office 2 days per week)
+ Start Dates: June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026, _or_ June 15, 2026 – August 21, 2026
+ Eligibility: Must have full U.S. work authorization now and in the future
+ This position can earn $20 - $28 per hour, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at DIRECTV offers. (Undergrad $20 per hour; Grad $28 per hour)
