    Job Title: Installation Technicians & Cable Technicians

     

    Openings: 1 Installation Technician & 8 Cable Technicians

     

    Travel: Some travel required (Per Diem provided)

    Job Overview:

    We are seeking experienced Installation and Cable Technicians for a multi-site project across Iowa and neighboring states. Candidates should have a minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience with low-voltage systems. Those with relevant technical training or schooling will also be considered.

    Technicians will be responsible for:

    + Installing data racks and cabinets

    + Running and terminating Cat6 and COAX cables

    + Installing faceplates, testing, and labeling connections

    + Setting up DirecTV cable boxes, modems, and satellite dishes

    + Assisting in server closet build-outs for network setups

    + Performing work both indoors and outdoors in school and apartment buildings

    + Occasionally digging trenches and assisting with directional drilling

     

    Technicians will follow instructions provided by project leads.

    Required Skills:

    + Installation of Cat6/Cat5 cabling

    + Punchdown and cable termination

    + Wireless access point setup

    + CCTV and security system installation

    + Low-voltage wiring

    + Video system setup

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
