As a Material Handler I, you will have a vital role in moving and delivering our exceptional products around. Your work will ensure essential equipment reaches scientists, medical professionals, and educators, positively impacting their tasks and, in turn, the lives of many.
What will you do?
+ Process customer orders daily to meet their expectations.
+ Work in one or more process paths: receiving, picking, packing, or shipping.
+ Package and label shipments according to standard operating procedures and complete documentation for hazardous materials.
+ Ensure inventory is stored accurately.
+ Collaborate with your team to ensure a great working experience at Thermo Fisher Scientific.
How will you get here?
Education:
+ High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
Experience:
+ General warehouse experience preferred.
+ Experience handling hazardous materials (chemicals) is a plus.
+ Experience with computers and scanning equipment preferred.
+ Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers) preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
+ Ability to stand and move about the warehouse for significant periods.
+ Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
+ Desire to work as part of a team, but also able to work independently.
+ Ability to read and write in English.
+ Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 lbs.

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $13.82–$21.00.
